If you are a fan of Hip Hop and R&B then I probably don't have to tell you about this Tour. The Heart of the City Tour kicked off in Miami and will be touring all over the USA and Canada (only Toronto I think) for the next 5 weeks. This concert is sensational as can be expected from such heavy hitters. I was particularly impressed with Mary J Blige's vocal talents. After all these years she could still hold a tune. I was also happy to hear her sing alot of her throw back music like 'Real Love' as she didn't so much on her last solo tour. Jay Z was .. well... Jay Z. A cool cat who's equally talented and a bonafide hustler. I can't help but wonder the timing of his tour and the rumored nuptials to none other than Beyonce? Is there anything this dude can't pull off between sets? These tickets are not cheap but if you are a fan or just wanna hear some good music and dance for 2 hours, this is a must see show! And oh yeah, I'm also friends with Jay Z's Dj so I’m giving him some free press!

The Inauguration

Does there need to be a rasion d'etre for a blog?

I've searched many blogs and every single one of them have a focus, a theme if you will. Fashion. Fast Cars. Flowers. Things that begin with the letter 'F'. All the while I sit and wonder what the $*#! I am going to write about? Is what i think relevant or prevalent? Will it be interesting enough that people will come through and visit this 'spot'? Should that even matter? ....All I can say is that I feel compelled to write. And have wanted to publicly for a long time. And so i will. Today is the birth of my blog inspired from many things, many people, my friends who (like me) got bit by the travel bug, the Dj's who make the music of my life, fasionista's who take risks, MBA grads, trick turners, snowboarders, animators and third world dwellers.......you inspire me to think beyond my own world and think 360.

So, I'm keeping this first post simple...stripped down to it's bare bones..no pictures no fancy graphics (because I'm not that techie anyway) and somehow I think the blank slate feels appropriate.

Welcome all.
